I first discovered my love of photography in my 50s. I had already done a little photography before that, but it was my work in the fashion industry and the supervision of numerous photo shoots that really sparked my interest in photography. In 2017, I successfully completed my training as a photo designer at Deutsche Pop and have been working as a freelance photographer in Munich ever since.
What always fascinates me about photography is the focus that you capture through your gaze and the lens. It is the interplay of light and colour in a square - a delimiting space that demands my full attention. In this space, I combine light, colours, shapes, landscapes and people in such a way that they reflect my feelings when I look at them.
For me, the composition is decisive, while technical perfection plays a subordinate role. Experimenting with transparencies, prisms and other creative aids allows me to alienate my pictures and thus create very unusual perspectives and compositions. This game has a special appeal for me.
I see myself as a seeker - always in search of the perfect picture. My focus is on the emotionality, the feeling that a picture should convey when you look at it later. For me, every photo is a new discovery, a new expression of my inner world. I invite you to share this journey with me.
